Modernized backend features for California Exclusion Management System, maintaining State’s Exclusion List for gambling establishments, by updating Java codebases on WildFly (JBoss) server and refactoring underlying Oracle database schemas. Developed backend logic using PL/SQL stored procedures and Oracle DBMS_SCHEDULER jobs to transition pending self- exclusions to an error status after 90 days and built self-excluded patron report modules for DOJ employee review. Automated supplier email notifications to alert stakeholders of charitable gambling event filings and bureau reviews. Updated application-generated form versions across portal interfaces using Jaspersoft to replace legacy documentation. Provided ongoing technical support to California Registry of Charitable Trusts and Registry of Charities and Fundraisers (RCT/RCF), executing monthly server OS patching, triaging and resolving IT tickets, and coordinating with external vendors. Evaluated and updated Statement of Work requirements for the DOJ Evoke (state registry platform) system enhancement, translating regulatory requirements into concrete backend deliverables, data workflows, and team qualifications. Executed complex Oracle SQL queries to extract and filter 100K+ database records into structured datasets, driving an automated document generation pipeline to produce personalized PDF notices for high-volume printing and mailing. Executed document and SQL data migrations from the legacy RCT/RCF application to Evoke platform. Authored SQL scripts to get source counts in the Oracle SQL database and generated reports in Evoke to confirm destination data integrity.
Working on Galileo, which is the cloud services platform and process automation hub for General Motors Information Technology teams. Developed webapps to create, process and fulfill service requests eg database access requests and database instance copy requests which streamlines online work flows, and automate coordination between IT-to-IT services teams, making significant cost savings. Using Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Angular for development and follow Agile SDLC model with daily scrums and regular customer demos for feedback.
Worked on creating an api with crud endpoints to modify item's inventory, cost etc for the backend of an e commerce website using Spring Boot. Collaborated with a team using git version control and weekly scrum meetings.
